INTRODUCTION
One of the greatest mysteries hidden from the ages is that Jesus Christ did not merely come to forgive humanity externally, but to establish the Throne of God within the inner man through crucifixion, resurrection, and transfiguration.
The Cross is not merely an event of history.
The Cross is the circumcision of consciousness.
The New Covenant is not merely a legal covenant.
It is an internal governmental invasion of the human being by the Kingdom of God Himself.
The “Place of the Skull” was not random geography.
Golgotha was the prophetic revelation that the fallen Adamic mind itself would become the battlefield of redemption.
The crown of thorns placed upon Messiah’s head revealed the curse of fallen consciousness.
The piercing of His head, hands, feet, and side revealed the opening of man into divine communion.
The veil torn in the Temple revealed that the final Holy of Holies would no longer be external stone architecture, but the inward sanctuary of the glorified believer.
The New Covenant is the enthronement of Christ within the human temple.
This is the great mystery:
The Kingdom of God internalized.
I. GOLGOTHA — THE PLACE OF THE SKULL
The Gospel writers specifically reveal that Messiah was crucified at Golgotha:
“And they brought Him to the place called Golgotha, which means, Place of a Skull.”
— Mark 15:22
This mystery is deeper than physical location.
The skull represents:
- consciousness,
- identity,
- perception,
- government,
- thought,
- imagination,
- and inward dominion.
The Fall of Adam was not merely moral.
It was perceptual.
The serpent invaded the inward architecture of man.
Thus redemption required:
- the overthrow of fallen perception,
- the annihilation of serpent consciousness,
- and the enthronement of divine consciousness.
The Cross upon the Skull reveals:
- the destruction of fallen Adamic government,
- and the establishment of the Kingdom Mind.
The crown of thorns reveals the curse upon human thought itself.
The thorns represent:
- toil,
- sorrow,
- accusation,
- confusion,
- fear,
- and the cursed ground of fallen consciousness.
Yet Christ wore the curse upon His head.
The mind of death was crucified in Him so that the Mind of Christ could be birthed within His people.
II. THE KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN
Messiah declared:
“The kingdom of God is within you.”
— Luke 17:21
This is one of the most explosive revelations in all Scripture.
The Kingdom is not merely future geography.
The Kingdom is the enthronement of God within the human being.
The New Covenant is not external law engraved on stone.
It is divine nature written internally upon consciousness itself.
“I will imprint My laws upon their hearts, and I will inscribe them on their minds.”
— Hebrews 10:16
The true Temple is no longer external architecture.
The true Temple is:
- the inward sanctuary,
- the transfigured mind,
- the glorified heart,
- and the renewed human being filled with Christ Himself.
The Old Covenant centered around:
- external priesthood,
- external sacrifice,
- external rituals,
- external temples,
- and external mediation.
But the New Covenant internalizes everything.
The believer becomes:
- the Temple,
- the priesthood,
- the lampstand,
- the altar,
- and the habitation of glory.
This is why Paul says:
“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
— Colossians 1:27
Not merely Christ beside you.
Not merely Christ over you.
Christ IN you.
The Throne internalized.
III. THE VEIL TORN AND THE OPENING OF THE INNER SANCTUARY
At the crucifixion:
“And the veil of the Holy of Holies of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.”
— Mark 15:38
The veil represented separation:
- separation between God and man,
- spirit and flesh,
- glory and corruption.
The tearing of the veil was not merely permission to enter Heaven after death.
It was the opening of the inner sanctuary NOW.
The Holy of Holies moved from stone architecture into redeemed humanity.
The final Temple of God is the glorified believer united to Christ.
The believer becomes:
- the Ark,
- the Mercy Seat,
- the Lampstand,
- the Holy Place,
- and the resting place of Divine Presence.
Thus Revelation declares:
“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men.”
— Revelation 21:3
The entire Biblical narrative moves toward internalization.
IV. THE CRANIAL TEMPLE AND THE MENORAH OF LIGHT
The head itself becomes prophetic architecture.
The seven openings of the head:
- two eyes,
- two ears,
- two nostrils,
- and the mouth
mirror the seven lamps of the menorah.
The inward man becomes the living lampstand.
This is why Scripture repeatedly speaks of:
- eyes being opened,
- ears hearing,
- minds renewed,
- hearts enlightened,
- and lamps burning.
The Fall darkened perception.
The Gospel illuminates perception.
“The eye is the lamp of the body.”
— Matthew 6:22
Thus the true war of the ages is ultimately over vision.
Babylon governs through fallen perception.
Christ governs through inward illumination.
The “single eye” is the reunification of consciousness under the government of God.
No longer fragmented by:
- lust,
- fear,
- accusation,
- pride,
- envy,
- or external identity.
But unified in the Lamb.
This is why Revelation says:
“Buy eye salve to put on your eyes, so that you may see.”
— Revelation 3:18
The true apocalypse is not merely global catastrophe.
The apocalypse is unveiling.
The unveiling of Christ within consciousness itself.
V. THE MIND OF CHRIST
Paul writes:
“Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 2:5
The Gospel is not merely behavioral modification.
It is transfiguration of consciousness.
The old man lives from:
- survival,
- fear,
- lust,
- pride,
- accusation,
- and self-preservation.
But Christ lives from:
- love,
- surrender,
- peace,
- mercy,
- purity,
- and union with the Father.
The Cross destroys self-life so divine life can emerge.
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”
— Galatians 2:20
This is the true mystery of the New Covenant.
Not self-improvement.
Death and resurrection.
The annihilation of fallen identity.
The emergence of Christ-consciousness through union with the Spirit of God.
VI. THE ENTHRONEMENT OF LOVE
The final revelation of the Throne is not domination.
It is LOVE.
The Lamb upon the Throne reveals the nature of divine government.
Not tyranny.
Not control.
Not earthly empire.
But cruciform love.
The government of God flows through:
- meekness,
- humility,
- mercy,
- purity,
- forgiveness,
- and self-giving love.
This is why John says:
“God is love.”
— 1 John 4:8
And why Paul prays:
“That you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God.”
— Ephesians 3:19
The inward Throne transforms:
- thought,
- memory,
- speech,
- imagination,
- emotion,
- and perception.
The nervous system itself becomes flooded with the River of Life.
The believer becomes internally governed by:
- peace,
- wisdom,
- glory,
- righteousness,
- and divine communion.
VII. THE MORNING STAR RISING IN THE HEART
Peter unveils one of the deepest mysteries in all Scripture:
“Until the day dawns and the Morning Star rises in your hearts.”
— 2 Peter 1:19
This is the internalization of heavenly government.
The Morning Star rising within the heart is:
- Christ enthroned within perception,
- divine light replacing fallen light,
- and the dawn of New Creation within the believer.
This is the overthrow of the old luminary system.
The believer no longer lives from:
- external darkness,
- worldly consciousness,
- serpent perception,
- or fallen identity.
The inward Throne becomes the source of life itself.
Thus Revelation declares:
“The Lord God will illumine them and be their light.”
— Revelation 22:5
The final destiny of the believer is not merely escape from earth.
It is transfiguration into a living habitation of God.
The Throne within the Skull.
The Kingdom within the Temple.
The Lamb enthroned in the renewed mind.
CONCLUSION
The Cross was the invasion of God into fallen consciousness.
Golgotha reveals the overthrow of Adamic perception and the birth of the Mind of Christ.
The New Covenant internalizes:
- the Temple,
- the Throne,
- the Lampstand,
- the Priesthood,
- and the Kingdom itself.
The believer becomes the habitation of Divine Presence.
The true battle of the ages is over perception.
Who sits upon the inward throne?
Fear?
Self?
Babylon?
The serpent?
The world?
Or Christ?
The Gospel is the enthronement of the Lamb within the human being until:
- the Morning Star rises in the heart,
- the day dawns within consciousness,
- and man becomes flooded with the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
The final Temple is the glorified inner man united to the Lamb forever.
