Torah Wisdom of the 12 Ephod Gemstones
Revelation 21:12,14 teaches us that the gates of God’s glory and angel armies have the names of the twelve tribes and twelve apostles of the Lamb engraved on them. This symbolism is not random but has a deep connection with the high priest’s ephod. The breastplate of the ephod had twelve gemstones, each representing a tribe of Israel.
Believers enter the Heavenly Jerusalem through their obedient hearts, just as the High Priest wore the Ephod over his heart as a symbol of this reality.
In the same way that the ephod would light up to provide answers in the form of yes or no, now the Heavenly Jerusalem, which is home to all the holy angels, illuminates around us to guide us.
The angelic flashes of light on the paths of mitzvahs help answer our questions towards God. The answers we seek come from the Holy City and emanate from within our hearts.
All of King Moshiach’s commands are accompanied by lightning energy and an angelic escort, and they are within the radiant shekinah of the river of living waters.
