đź‘‘ RLM TV SPECIAL FORCES INTEL BRIEFING
Father of Spirits • Father of Glory • Father of Lights
“One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Ephesians 4:6)
Opening Intelligence
There are many names of God throughout Scripture — Creator, King, Shepherd, Judge, Redeemer. Yet hidden within the Apostolic writings are three magnificent titles that reveal not merely who God is externally, but how He functions internally within the New Covenant believer at the Sod ha-Sod level.
The Apostles unveil Him as:
- The Father of Spirits
- The Father of Glory
- The Father of Lights
These are not random titles. They are operational descriptions of the mechanism by which the Eternal Father raises sons and daughters into the full image of Christ.
The New Covenant is ultimately the revelation of internal Fatherhood — not distant, legal, or theoretical, but the Father moving, teaching, governing, shining, and glorifying from within His children. The Father raising Christ within. The entire New Covenant can be understood through these three divine names operating in perfect harmony within the inner man.
PART I — THE FATHER OF SPIRITS
“Shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?” (Hebrews 12:9)
This is one of the most profound titles in Scripture. The writer does not call Him the Father of bodies, flesh, or personalities. He calls Him the Father of Spirits.
At the Sod level, this directs our attention inward to the Holy of Holies. The Father’s primary work is not external modification but internal formation. Most believers focus on behavior and fruit. The Father focuses on spirit and roots. Most religion attempts outward correction. The Father performs inward transformation through the crucifixion of the serpent nature and the impartation of divine nature.
The New Covenant begins when the Father takes residence within the spirit of man — the innermost sanctuary, the hidden man of the heart, the throne room of divine government. This is why Jesus declared, “The Kingdom of God is within you.”
The Father of Spirits is raising an entirely new creation from within — not through external pressure or conformity, but through the River of Life flowing from the inner Throne. He does not merely command; He imparts. He does not merely instruct; He reproduces. The Father of Spirits fathers Christ within His sons and daughters.
The River Strategy of Fathering
Many believers think growth comes through striving and trying harder. The Father knows growth comes through receiving deeper. A tree does not grow by striving — it grows by drawing from hidden roots. Likewise, the spirit grows by drinking continually from the River of Life.
The Father of Spirits supplies life, wisdom, grace, understanding, revelation, conviction, strength, and divine nature into the inner man. This is why Paul prayed to be “strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man” (Ephesians 3:16). The Kingdom grows from the inside outward. The River rises first — then the entire landscape of the soul is transformed.
PART II — THE FATHER OF GLORY
“The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory…” (Ephesians 1:17)
Paul does not merely call Him glorious. He calls Him the Father of Glory. A father produces offspring after his own kind. Therefore, the Father of Glory produces glory — the manifestation of divine life, God expressed, Christ revealed, Heaven appearing through redeemed humanity.
Glory is not merely a heavenly atmosphere. Glory is the divine nature becoming visible. The Father of Glory is continually increasing His own manifestation within His children. This is the mystery:
“Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27)
The hope is not merely going somewhere — it is Someone appearing from within. The Father of Glory is unveiling His Son in the inner man.
From Glory to Glory
Paul gives the blueprint:
“We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory.” (2 Corinthians 3:18)
The Father of Glory is not producing rule-keepers or better versions of Adam. He is producing radiant image-bearers and expressions of Christ. Glory increases gradually, steadily, and powerfully — like the sunrise breaking into dawn. The New Covenant is the progressive unveiling and enthronement of Christ from within.
PART III — THE FATHER OF LIGHTS
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights…” (James 1:17)
The Father of Spirits reveals where He works. The Father of Glory reveals what He produces. The Father of Lights reveals how He accomplishes it — through light.
Light is Heaven’s language. Creation began with light. The Tabernacle operated by light. The Prophets received light. Christ appeared as Light. The Kingdom advances through light. The Father of Lights continually illuminates reality — revealing what was hidden, uncovering what was veiled, exposing the false, and shining Christ into every chamber of the heart.
Revelation is not mere information. Revelation is transformative light. Information informs. Light transforms and crucifies the serpent nature while birthing God-consciousness.
The Rising Morning Star
Peter speaks of the day when:
“The Morning Star rises in your hearts.” (2 Peter 1:19)
This is the ministry of the Father of Lights. The New Covenant is not merely receiving information about Christ — it is the rising of Christ Himself within. Every revelation is another sunrise. Every unveiling is another dawn. The Father of Lights is turning the interior world of the believer from night into morning, from self-consciousness into God-consciousness.
THE DIVINE PATTERN OF FATHERING
When these three names are brought together, the entire New Covenant becomes visible at the Sod ha-Sod level:
- The Father of Spirits establishes His Throne within the spirit.
- The Father of Lights illuminates the inner man with revelation.
- The Father of Glory manifests Christ through the transformed vessel.
This is the journey: Spirit receives → Light reveals → Glory appears. The Father plants, the Father shines, the Father glorifies. This is how sons are raised. This is how Overcomers are formed. This is how Christ is fully unveiled within humanity and the 12 spiced mountains of Eden are restored.
Final Intelligence
The ultimate purpose of the New Covenant is not merely forgiveness — it is Fatherhood. The Father of Spirits is building His Kingdom within. The Father of Lights is illuminating His Kingdom within. The Father of Glory is manifesting His Kingdom within.
The believer’s calling is therefore not primarily striving or self-production, but yielding and divine reception. Not self-transformation, but Father-transformation. The entire Christian life is the ongoing experience of the Father of Spirits filling us with life, the Father of Lights filling us with revelation, and the Father of Glory filling us with Christ — until the serpent nature is fully crucified and the divine nature fully formed.
“Until Christ be formed in you.” (Galatians 4:19)
Mission Objective
Yield every chamber of your inner man to the Father of Spirits. Open wide to the illuminating light of the Father of Lights. Behold and receive the increasing glory of the Father of Glory.
Drink deeply from the River of Life flowing from the inner Throne. Allow the Bright Morning Star to rise fully within. Crucify the remnants of the old nature and surrender completely to the Fathering process.
For the Kingdom of God advances irresistibly wherever the Threefold Fatherhood of the New Covenant is welcomed and enthroned in the hearts of the Joel’s Army Overcomers.
With Love in Christ,
Apostle Brandon Barthrop
