Abstract
This paper unveils the hidden serpent form of all unredeemed humanity as revealed by increasing measures of divine light flowing from the Garden of Eden in the Third Heaven through Messiah Jesus Christ. Drawing from the Holy Bible, classical Jewish Kabbalah, and extra-biblical sacred texts, we expose how every human born of the flesh inherits a serpentine nefesh bound in the husks (kelipot) of the Primordial Serpent. Only through the Living Waters of Jesus Christ—the River of Life proceeding from His Throne—can the serpent skin be washed away and the human be recreated in the divine image. This study confronts the full reality of the fall and exalts the total solution in the Moshiach.
I. The Serpent Nature of Humanity Revealed by Divine Light
In classical Kabbalah, it is taught that Adam’s fall resulted in the admixture of good and evil, known as Tov ve-Ra, into the soul’s lower faculties, particularly the nefesh. The Zohar states:
“When Adam sinned, he brought death into the world, and the Serpent entered into his skin”
(Zohar I: 23b)
The Serpent’s entry is not figurative—it is literal. The skin (or) of man was exchanged for the skin (or with ayin), symbolizing the cloak of the serpent. As the divine light (or with aleph) departed, serpent flesh replaced it:
“And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.” (Genesis 3:7)
The fig leaf is the covering of the Qlippoth.
Thus, all humanity born of Adam inherits this reptilian cloak of fallen flesh. As the River of Life increases in intensity from the Third Heaven through the Second Heaven and into the earth, it unveils the true state of mankind as fully serpentine. Messiah said:
“You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good?” (Matthew 12:34)
“You are of your father the devil.” (John 8:44)
II. The Classical Kabbalah of the Serpent Overlay
According to the Etz Chaim of Isaac Luria, the kelipot nogah—the translucent husk—surrounds the soul and is the battleground between good and evil. But when divine light intensifies, the nogah membrane splits, revealing the embedded evil in full.
“All evil is rooted in the serpent… and it has 10 crowns of defilement mimicking the 10 Sefirot of holiness.” (Likkutei Torah, Parshat Balak)
When Moshiach’s Living Water intensifies, this nogah cannot hide the evil—thus, humanity begins to look like what it is: serpent-bodied beings who need total regeneration.
III. The Washing of the Serpent: Baptism of Living Water
The solution is not education or behavior improvement. It is not religion or philosophy. The only solution is crucifixion of the serpent form and rebirth in the Messiah.
“Unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.” (John 3:5)
“He saved us… by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost.” (Titus 3:5)
This “washing” is the River of Life flowing from the Garden of Eden in the Third Heaven, as seen in Revelation:
“And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.” (Revelation 22:1)
This river does not cleanse a few sins; it remakes the human entirely.
IV. Extra-Biblical Confirmations: 1 Enoch and 4 Ezra
In 1 Enoch, the Watchers and their offspring are described as serpentine giants with glowing skin. This fall of man is intertwined with serpent DNA and fallen star influence:
“You see what Azazel has done… and all the sin that they have taught upon the earth.” (1 Enoch 9:6)
Likewise, 4 Ezra 7:118 declares:
“O Adam, what have you done? For though it was you who sinned, the fall was not yours alone, but ours also who are your descendants.”
The fall extended the serpent image into all flesh. Paul echoes this:
“We all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh… and were by nature children of wrath.” (Ephesians 2:3)
V. The Born-Again Human: A New Creation in Christ
The Apostle Paul, steeped in Jewish mysticism and revelation of Moshiach, writes:
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
This “new creation” is not a better version of the old—it is an entirely different species, born not of the serpent but of God. The Gospel is not just salvation from sin, but transformation of species:
“You have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.” (Colossians 3:10)
The old man is a serpent; the new man is angelic—“equal to the angels” (Luke 20:36).
VI. From Serpent to Son: The Ascension Path in Christ
The mystical path of Jesus is Jacob’s Ladder—ascending from the serpent-laden earth into the pure angelic realms of God. Kabbalistically, the 10 Sefirot must be climbed by grace, beginning at Malchut (kingdom of earth, serpent rule) and ending in Keter (crown of divine will).
Only Jesus, the Cosmic Ladder, makes this possible:
“You will see heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” (John 1:51)
As we ascend through Yeshua, we shed layer after layer of serpent identity until only Christ remains in us.
VII. Conclusion: The Total Solution to the Serpent Problem
Every human outside of Jesus Christ is fully serpentine in appearance and in essence. As His light increases, this reality becomes visible. But the Gospel brings not only forgiveness—but new creation, living waters, and angelic ascension.
The world’s only hope is not religion. It is Jesus Christ, the River of Life.
