🕊️Piercing the Angelic Sphere: The Cosmic Victory of Jesus Christ and the Healing of the Universe

By Apostle Brandon Barthrop | RLM TV

Introduction

From the beginning, creation was designed as a harmonious reflection of divine order. The heavens were appointed to govern times and seasons, angels to minister, and mankind to walk in dominion over all. Yet through the rebellion of angels and the sin of man, a prison was formed—a realm known in Christian Kabbalah as the angelic sphere, encompassing the Mazzalot (Zodiac), Draco, and the heart of man.

It is into this imprisoned cosmos that the Son of God descended—not to partake of its bondage, but to destroy its foundations through the mystery of the Cross. This paper unveils how Jesus Christ pierced the prison of the angelic sphere, freeing humanity from the cosmic slavery imposed by the principalities and starry hosts. Drawing from Torah, Prophets, the New Covenant, and ancient Jewish history, including the eyewitness testimony of Josephus, we will explore the cosmic implications of Calvary and the triumph of the Cross.

1. The Angelic Sphere as the Prison of the Fallen

The sages taught that creation is composed of three great forces: the stars, time, and the heart. As it is written:

“All that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world.”
—1 John 2:16

These three are mystically understood as the corrupted reflection of:

  • Draco, the red serpent constellation—the throne of Satan and the twisted dominion of Edom’s sorcery;

  • The 12 constellations (Mazzalot), which bound time and fate upon humanity;

  • And the heart, which became deceitful and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9), twisted by demonic influence.

Together, they form a starry prison, governing the inner and outer lives of mankind through fallen angelic dominion. Even Enoch beheld this reality, where the rebellious Watchers are bound in the second heavens and where rivers of life are dammed up by them to distribute corrupted spiritual power (1 Enoch 21).

2. Messiah’s Cross Pierced the Second Heaven

At Calvary, Jesus Christ—the Living Torah and Eternal Son—was lifted up as the final sin offering. But this sacrifice was not only for earthly redemption. It was a cosmic invasion of the second heavens, a piercing of the angelic sphere and the expulsion of the rebellious host.

As the Gospel records:

“At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.”
—Mark 15:33

This was not a solar eclipse, as Passover always occurs during the full moon. The darkness was a supernatural sign, witnessed throughout the Roman world. The Jewish historian Josephus described this strange midday darkness:

“On the day Jesus was crucified, there was a solar eclipse so total that stars appeared in the sky at midday.”
(Paraphrased from Josephus, Chronicon)

The veil in the temple was torn—not just on earth, but in the heavens. The Cross shattered the firmament, pierced Draco, and broke the celestial sorcery of the second heaven.

“Having disarmed the principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the Cross.”
—Colossians 2:15

3. The Torah Reveals All Creation Is Made of the Mazzalot and Heart

In Kabbalistic Torah, it is revealed that man is a mirror of the heavens, composed of the starry arrangement of the Mazzalot and the throne of the heart. The 12 constellations govern time, seasons, character, and fate. The Draco serpent overlays them as a false crown, dominating through the seven mountains of fallen government. The Galgalim (wheels) rotate the heavens, while the Kokhavim (stars) exert their influence on earth.

But Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is not ruled by these. He created them. As it is written:

“Before Abraham was, I AM.”
—John 8:58

He came not to submit to the fallen structure but to redeem it—to fulfill the Torah and create a new heavens and new earth in Himself.

4. He Opened the Dam of the Upper Waters

In the Book of Enoch, we see that the rivers of life from Upper Eden were blocked in the second heaven by fallen angels. These rivers—called Shefa in Hebrew—represent the divine flow of light, truth, healing, and power from the Throne of YHVH.

Satan and his Watchers damed up the river to control the outflow, distributing it to the wicked and cutting off access from the righteous.

But Messiah, at His baptism, opened the heavens:

“The heavens were torn open, and the Spirit descended like a dove.”
—Mark 1:10

And at the Cross, He broke the dam:

“One of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water flowed out.”
—John 19:34

This blood and water opened the true river of Eden, releasing the Holy Spirit directly to those who believe in Him. No longer do demons control the flow. The river of life is now given freely from the pierced side of Christ to the overcomers.

5. The Tabernacle of Grace Above the Stars

The Tabernacle of Moses was built under the stars, aligned with the Mazzalot, limited by time and earthly priesthood. But the Tabernacle of Jesus Christ is eternal and above the stars.

“You have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal assembly.”
—Hebrews 12:22

This new tabernacle is not made by human hands but is constructed from His own flesh and blood. It is the eternal Tabernacle of Grace, enthroned above the angelic sphere, beyond the power of the serpent constellations and starry rulers.

“For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands… He entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence.”
—Hebrews 9:24

6. The End of Fate, the Rise of Divine Sons

Before Christ, mankind lived under the control of the stars (Mazalot), subject to the fate and timings manipulated by fallen angels. But Christ descended through the stars, conquering each realm in His death, and ascended through them, marking every rung of the ladder with His blood.

“When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men.”
—Ephesians 4:8

In His glorified ascension, He reclaimed the constellations, planets, and stars from the dominion of Satan, purchasing them back with His blood. They now belong solely to the saints, the Body of Christ.

The Cross is now the true Ladder through the new heavens, the glorification and fulfillment of Jacob’s ladder. The constellation Draco, once the serpent crown of the enemy, is now transformed:

“And before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal.”
—Revelation 4:6

The stars have become transparent, subjected to the Lamb and the overcomers. As it is written:

“He who overcomes, I will give him the morning star.”
—Revelation 2:28

7. Transformation by the Living Waters and Eternal Commandment

Now, whoever believes in Him begins above Draco, above the stars, in the Promised Land of the Spirit. But while this is our positional inheritance, it must be realized through circumcision of the heart at every rung of ascension.

The believer must climb from glory to glory, removing the old man at each step. The seven mountains of the world—called metallic kingdoms in the Book of Enoch (iron, bronze, silver, gold, etc.)—reside not only externally, but within the soul.

As in the process of metalworking, living water is required to cut through hardened steel. So it is with the soul: only the continual washing of grace and the piercing edge of **Truth—the Eternal Torah of YHVH fulfilled in Christ—**can separate the soul from the old nature.

“The word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword… dividing soul and spirit.”
—Hebrews 4:12

Ascension is by grace through faith, but transformation is covenantal and priestly—daily drawing from the river, daily obeying the command, daily partaking of the Lamb.

Conclusion

The stars no longer govern the believer. The fallen angelic dominion no longer controls the Shekinah flow. The prison of the angelic sphere has been pierced and defeated.

Through the Cross of YHVH Jesus Christ, the true sons and daughters of God now drink directly from the waters of Eden, walk in the heavens, and live in Zion above the stars. Their inheritance is no longer fate, but glory—not the old heart of stone, but the circumcised heart of fire.

Let all who hear this Word rise, ascend, and walk in the Tabernacle of Grace above the stars, clothed in light, sealed with the Spirit, and bearing witness to the only true God:

YHVH Jesus Christ, Moshiach of Israel and King of the Universe. Amen.
