OPERATION GRACE TO GLORY
RLM TV SPECIAL FORCES INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING 1
OPERATION ORIGINAL GLORY
Recovering the Divine Intention Before Studying the Fall

Pairs with Chapter I — The Grace That Came From Glory

Mission Classification: Eternal Purpose
Operational Theater: Before the Foundation of the World
Primary Scriptures: John 17:5, 22–24; Ephesians 1:3–6; Romans 8:28–30; 1 Corinthians 15:45–49; 2 Timothy 1:9–10

Mission Theme:
BEFORE THERE WAS A FALL TO REPAIR,
THERE WAS A GLORY TO REVEAL.

CLASSIFIED MISSION

The first objective of Operation Grace to Glory is not to begin with the serpent.
It is not to begin with Adam’s transgression.
It is not to begin with death.
It is not even to begin with humanity’s need for forgiveness.

We begin where the apostles begin when they unveil the deepest dimensions of redemption:
IN THE ETERNAL PURPOSE OF GOD.

Before humanity became lost, God had purpose.
Before creation experienced corruption, Christ possessed glory.
Before the first accusation, God had grace.
Before death entered through Adam, God’s intention concerning humanity was already centered in His Son.

This changes the entire battlefield.

If we begin with the Fall, salvation can appear to be merely a divine repair operation.
But if we begin with Christ, salvation appears as something infinitely greater:
THE RECOVERY AND FULFILLMENT OF GOD’S ETERNAL PURPOSE.

The mission is not merely:
GET ADAM FORGIVEN.

The mission reaches toward:
CONFORM HUMANITY TO CHRIST.

The difference is not cosmetic. It is architectural.
One starts inside the wound and tries to climb out.
The other starts inside the original intention and reveals that the wound never rewrote the blueprint.

OPENING INTELLIGENCE

Much Christian thought begins its story in Genesis 3.
Man sins.
Death enters.
Humanity becomes guilty.
God begins the work of redemption.

All of that belongs to the biblical story.
But it is not where God’s purpose begins.

Paul reaches behind Genesis 3.
He reaches behind Genesis 1.
He speaks of something established:

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world…”
— Ephesians 1:4

And Jesus reaches still farther into the mystery when He prays:

“Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
— John 17:5

Before there was a world—
THERE WAS GLORY.

Before there was Adam—
THERE WAS THE SON.

Before there was sin—
THERE WAS DIVINE PURPOSE.

This is our first intelligence breakthrough.

The Gospel is not primarily a reaction.
It is primarily a revelation of what was already true in God before anything went wrong.

FIRST ILLUMINATION

THE GOSPEL HAS A PRE-FALL HORIZON

The Gospel certainly answers the Fall.
But the Gospel cannot be completely defined by the Fall.

Why?
Because God’s purpose in Christ reaches before it.

Paul writes again:

“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.”
— 2 Timothy 1:9

Notice the language:
PURPOSE.
GRACE.
CHRIST JESUS.
BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN.

Grace is therefore not merely God’s emergency response after humanity failed.
Paul places purpose and grace in Christ before the ages.

That means grace belongs to something deeper than crisis management.
GRACE BELONGS TO GOD’S ETERNAL PURPOSE IN CHRIST.

This is the first layer of Sod ha-Sod.
The surface story (Peshat) is the Fall and the Cross.
The deeper story (Sod) is that the Cross itself is the unveiling of a glory that never began with the Cross.
The Cross is not the invention of grace.
The Cross is the costly manifestation of a grace that already existed in the heart of God toward a people He had already chosen in His Son.

THE ENEMY’S FIRST DISTORTION

MAKE THE FALL BIGGER THAN THE PURPOSE

The enemy cannot erase Christ’s victory.
But religious consciousness can be trained to interpret everything through humanity’s failure.

Then sin becomes enormous.
Death becomes enormous.
Adam becomes enormous.
The serpent becomes enormous.

And Christ can function merely as the answer to everything that went wrong.

But Scripture gives us a larger Christ.

Paul does not present Jesus merely as Heaven’s repairman.
He presents Him as:

“the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.”
— Colossians 1:15

And declares:

“All things were created by him, and for him.”
— Colossians 1:16

The universe is not ultimately interpreted by Adam.
IT IS INTERPRETED BY CHRIST.

When the Fall is allowed to become the interpretive center, the entire redemptive story is reduced to damage control.
When Christ is restored as the interpretive center, the Fall is exposed as an interruption—real, catastrophic, and temporary—but never the author of the final chapter.

CLASSIFIED REVELATION

THE SERPENT IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF GOD’S AGENDA

This is crucial.

The serpent introduced corruption into human experience.
But the serpent did not force God to invent Christ.
The serpent did not create God’s desire for sons and daughters.
The serpent did not invent divine glory.
The serpent did not originate grace.
The serpent did not determine the final destination of creation.

God’s purpose is older.
Christ is greater.
Grace reaches deeper.
Glory stands beyond the catastrophe.

Therefore:
WE MUST NEVER ALLOW THE ENEMY’S INTERRUPTION TO BECOME THE DEFINITION OF GOD’S INTENTION.

The serpent’s voice is real.
But it is not original.
It is not ultimate.
It is not final.

BEFORE ADAM — CHRIST

Paul gives us two representative humanities.

There is:
THE FIRST ADAM
and there is:
THE LAST ADAM.

There is:
the earthly
and:
the heavenly.

Paul writes:

“The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:47

Then comes the astonishing destination:

“And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:49

There is the mission.

The Gospel does not merely remove something.
It brings forth an image.

Humanity has borne:
THE IMAGE OF THE EARTHY.

Redemption moves toward:
THE IMAGE OF THE HEAVENLY.

This is not poetic language.
This is the core trajectory of the entire redemptive operation.

THE IMAGE WAR BEGINS

This reveals the deeper battlefield underneath the entire series.

The ultimate question is not merely:
Will sins be forgiven?
They are forgiven in Christ.

The deeper trajectory asks:
WHOSE IMAGE WILL HUMANITY BEAR?

The image shaped by corruption?
Or the image of the Son?

The consciousness of Adam?
Or the mind of Christ?

Mortality?
Or immortality?

The earthy?
Or the heavenly?

Paul gives the destination in Romans 8:

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son…”
— Romans 8:29

There it is.
CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON.

This is not an afterthought.
Paul places conformity to Christ within God’s redemptive purpose from the beginning.

The image war is the true war.
Forgiveness is the doorway.
Conformity is the destination.

INTELLIGENCE DISCOVERY 2

JUSTIFICATION HAS A DESTINATION

Romans 8 does not end with justification.
This must be recovered.

Paul declares the golden chain:

FOREKNOWN
↓
PREDESTINED
↓
CALLED
↓
JUSTIFIED
↓
GLORIFIED.

The Gospel absolutely includes justification.
But justification does not exhaust the purpose of redemption.

The golden chain moves somewhere.
And immediately before it, Paul tells us where:
CONFORMITY TO THE SON.

Therefore the intelligence report is clear:
GRACE CHANGES OUR STANDING WITHIN A PURPOSE THAT ENDS IN GLORY.

This prepares us for the central revelation of the entire operation:
GRACE TO GLORY.

Justification is not the ceiling.
It is the runway.

WHAT ARE WE BEING SAVED INTO?

Religion frequently asks:
What are you saved from?

From sin.
From condemnation.
From death.
From corruption.

These are magnificent truths.

But apostolic intelligence asks another question:
WHAT ARE YOU SAVED INTO?

Into Christ.
Into communion.
Into sonship.
Into holiness.
Into love.
Into transformation.
Into conformity to the Son.
Into resurrection life.
Into glory.

The negative dimension of salvation removes what opposes God’s purpose.
The positive dimension reveals what God’s purpose always intended.

Salvation is not only escape.
Salvation is entrance.

Escape from the dominion of the first Adam.
Entrance into the likeness of the Last Adam.

THE JOHN 17 FILE

GLORY BEFORE THE WORLD — GLORY GIVEN TO THE PEOPLE

John 17 contains extraordinary intelligence.

Jesus first speaks of:
GLORY BEFORE THE WORLD.

“The glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
— John 17:5

Later He prays:

“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them…”
— John 17:22

And then:

“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory…”
— John 17:24

Watch the movement:

GLORY BEFORE THE WORLD
↓
GLORY REVEALED IN CHRIST
↓
GLORY GIVEN
↓
GLORY BEHELD
↓
COMMUNION WITH CHRIST.

The Fall is nowhere allowed to become the final horizon.

Jesus’ prayer reaches from glory before creation toward a people brought into communion with Him.

This is not a side note in the high priestly prayer.
This is the heart of it.
The Son is returning to the glory He had with the Father, and He is bringing a people with Him into the shared life of that glory.

THE SOD HA-SOD MYSTERY

THE END EXPLAINS THE BEGINNING

Here we enter the deeper contemplative layer.

If Revelation ends with:
the Throne,
the Lamb,
the River,
the Tree,
the servants seeing His face,
the Name upon their foreheads,
the curse removed,
and divine light filling everything—

then perhaps we should not interpret God’s entire purpose through the temporary reign of corruption.

Death is real.
But death is not eternal.

The curse is real.
But Revelation says:
“THERE SHALL BE NO MORE CURSE.”

The serpent appears.
But the Lamb occupies the Throne.

Darkness appears.
But the final creation:
NEEDS NO NIGHT.

The deepest biblical horizon is therefore not the perpetuation of catastrophe.
It is the victory of God in Christ.

The end is not a repaired Eden.
The end is a glorified people in the presence of the Lamb, seeing His face, bearing His Name, living by the River that flows from the Throne.

The beginning is interpreted by the end.
And the end is pure glory.

OPERATIONAL WARNING

DO NOT CONFUSE ETERNAL PURPOSE WITH HUMAN DIVINIZATION

To say that humanity is destined for glory does not mean humanity becomes the Source of glory.

God remains God.
Christ remains Lord.
The creature remains dependent upon the Creator.

Biblical glorification is participation by grace, not autonomous deity.

We receive.
He supplies.
We behold.
The Spirit transforms.
We are conformed.
God glorifies.
And all glory returns to Him.

This protects Operation Grace to Glory from turning divine transformation into human self-exaltation.

The destination is not:
MAN MAGNIFIED APART FROM CHRIST.

It is:
MAN CONFORMED TO CHRIST FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.

Any teaching that elevates the creature above the Creator has already left the apostolic path.
True glory never competes with God.
It reflects Him.

THE ORIGINAL BLUEPRINT

We can now recover the operational blueprint.

Before the battlefield:
CHRIST.

Before corruption:
PURPOSE.

Before accusation:
GRACE.

Before mortality’s temporary reign:
GLORY.

Before Adam’s failure could define humanity forever:
GOD PURPOSED CONFORMITY TO HIS SON.

Therefore the Fall must be interpreted inside the greater story.

Not:
PURPOSE INSIDE THE FALL.

But:
THE FALL INSIDE GOD’S REDEMPTIVE PURPOSE IN CHRIST.

The interruption does not become the destination.

WHY THIS CHANGES GRACE

If grace is interpreted only after the Fall, we may imagine grace merely as divine tolerance toward sinners.

But if grace belongs to God’s purpose in Christ before the ages, grace becomes much larger.

Grace forgives—
but grace is not exhausted by forgiveness.

Grace justifies—
but grace is not exhausted by justification.

Grace rescues—
but grace carries the rescued toward God’s purpose.

And what is that purpose?
CONFORMITY TO THE SON.

This is why the next chapter of the teaching paper begins with:
THE GRACE THAT CAME FROM GLORY.

Before we can understand grace correctly, we must recover the God from whom grace comes.

Grace is not God’s reaction to our failure.
Grace is the outflow of God’s eternal intention toward a people He already loved in His Son.

THE ORIGINAL GLORY DIRECTIVE

The first mission of Operation Grace to Glory is therefore a recalibration of vision.

Stop beginning the story with:
THE SERPENT.
Begin with:
GOD.

Stop beginning with:
SIN.
Begin with:
PURPOSE.

Stop beginning with:
DEATH.
Begin with:
LIFE.

Stop interpreting Christ merely through Adam.
Interpret Adam through:
CHRIST.

Stop allowing the catastrophe to become larger than the cure.
And stop allowing the interruption to become larger than:
THE ETERNAL PURPOSE.

FIELD INTELLIGENCE

The believer who thinks primarily from the Fall tends to ask:
How bad am I?
How much did Adam lose?
How powerful is sin?
How dangerous is the enemy?
How do I survive?

But the believer whose vision is re-centered upon Christ begins asking:
What has God purposed in His Son?
What does it mean to bear the heavenly image?
What does Christ in me mean?
What is the Spirit transforming?
What does resurrection reveal about humanity’s destination?
What does it mean that the God of all grace has called us into eternal glory?

The questions change because:
THE CENTER CHANGED.

One set of questions keeps the soul orbiting the wound.
The other set of questions draws the soul into the gravitational field of the Son.

MISSION OBJECTIVE

Before proceeding further into Operation Grace to Glory, establish these coordinates:

  • God’s purpose is older than the Fall.
  • Christ’s glory is older than the world.
  • Grace belongs to God’s eternal purpose in Christ.
  • The Fall does not define God’s ultimate intention.
  • Redemption does more than remove condemnation.
  • God’s purpose includes conformity to the image of His Son.
  • Justification moves within a redemptive trajectory toward glorification.
  • Resurrection reveals that death does not receive the final word concerning humanity.
  • And:
JESUS CHRIST — NOT ADAM — IS THE DESTINATION.

OPERATIONAL SEQUENCE

ETERNAL PURPOSE
↓
CHRIST
↓
GRACE
↓
REDEMPTION
↓
TRANSFORMATION
↓
CONFORMITY TO THE SON
↓
GLORY.

This is the first map of the new campaign.

FINAL INTELLIGENCE

The enemy wants humanity staring endlessly backward at the disaster.
The Gospel turns our face toward Christ.

Yes, understand the Fall.
Yes, understand sin.
Yes, understand death.

But understand them as enemies Christ came to overcome—
not as eternal realities possessing authority to define God’s final creation.

The first Adam explains much about what humanity has experienced.
THE LAST ADAM REVEALS WHERE REDEMPTION IS GOING.

We have borne the image of the earthy.
Paul announces:
WE SHALL ALSO BEAR THE IMAGE OF THE HEAVENLY.

The mission therefore begins not beneath the serpent’s tree—
but within the eternal purpose of the Father revealed in His Son.

Before the Fall—
PURPOSE.

Before death—
LIFE.

Before condemnation—
GRACE.

Before the world—
GLORY.

And before there was ever:
A FALL TO REPAIR,
there was:
A GLORY TO REVEAL.

OPERATION GRACE TO GLORY
SPECIAL FORCES INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING 1
OPERATION ORIGINAL GLORY

Mission Accomplished:
The battlefield has been repositioned.
We will no longer interpret God’s eternal purpose primarily through humanity’s catastrophe.
We will interpret redemption through:
JESUS CHRIST.

And now that the original coordinates have been recovered, we are prepared to enter Chapter I:
THE GRACE THAT CAME FROM GLORY.

MORE GRACE.
MORE CHRIST.
MORE GLORY.
