OPERATION GALATIANS UNSEALED
INTEL BRIEFING TWO Operation Divine Exchange Pairs with Chapter II — Crucified Into Christ
Mission Theme
The Cross ends Adam and unveils the exchanged life.
Primary Objective
Expose the illusion of independent life until Christ alone becomes the believer’s life, identity, and governing center.
Opening Intelligence
Special Forces,
Every military campaign has one decisive battle. One battle that determines the outcome of every battle that follows. For the Eternal Gospel, that battlefield is the Cross.
Many believe Calvary solved only the problem of sin. Paul reveals something infinitely greater. The Cross did not merely forgive Adam. It ended Adam.
At the Sod ha-Sod level, the Gospel is therefore not God’s attempt to improve fallen humanity. It is God’s declaration that an entirely new humanity has begun in Jesus Christ. The Cross announces the termination of the old creation. The resurrection announces the beginning of the new.
This is why Paul can proclaim:
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” (Galatians 2:20)
The greatest miracle of Christianity is not that sinful people become better people. The greatest miracle is that Christ Himself becomes our life.
Strategic Assessment
Two identities continually compete for dominion.
The Old Man (Adam) Independent. Self-governed. Performance-driven. Fearful. Religious. Self-righteous. Centered upon Adam. Always attempting to produce life.
The New Man (Christ) Crucified with Christ. Raised with Christ. United with Christ. Filled with Christ. Governed by Christ. Centered upon the indwelling Son. Receiving life rather than manufacturing it.
One identity struggles. The other simply abides.
The Enemy’s Primary Strategy
The enemy understands something many believers overlook. If he cannot keep people from believing in Jesus, he will encourage them to keep believing in themselves. The flesh loves religion because religion allows Adam to survive. It allows self-confidence to remain. Self-effort to continue. Performance to flourish.
The Cross threatens all of it. The Cross exposes the greatest idol ever created: the illusion of independent life. Every counterfeit gospel attempts to preserve some version of Adam. The Eternal Gospel buries him.
Paul insists that the Cross did not merely forgive the old life but brought its reign to an end through union with Christ. This is the Great Divine Exchange.
Heaven’s Counteroffensive
Heaven responds with one glorious exchange. Christ takes our death. We receive His life. Christ takes our condemnation. We receive His righteousness. Christ takes our weakness. We receive His strength. Christ takes our poverty. We receive His inheritance. Christ takes Adam. We receive the Last Adam.
This is not improvement. This is exchange. The Cross was not Heaven’s attempt to repair the old creation. It was Heaven’s declaration that the old creation had reached its appointed end. The Virgin King has come to replace Adam entirely.
The Inner Throne
The greatest battle after conversion is no longer whether Christ exists. The battle is: Who lives? Paul answers with astonishing simplicity: “It is no longer I who live.”
That statement changes everything. Identity changes. Prayer changes. Victory changes. Holiness changes. Ministry changes. Even suffering changes. Because the believer is no longer drawing life from Adam. He is drawing life from Christ Himself. The throne has changed hands. The false ruler has been removed. A new King now governs from within.
Special Forces Revelation
The Cross is not simply an historical event. It is Heaven’s permanent verdict upon the old creation. God never promised to repair Adam. He promised to replace him.
Every day the believer stands before two possible lives. The old independent life. Or the exchanged life. One produces striving. The other produces abiding. One depends upon self. The other depends upon Christ. One says, “I must become.” The other says, “Christ is.”
The throne determines everything. When Christ occupies the throne, the culture of Heaven fills the heart. Peace reigns. Truth reigns. Love reigns. The River flows. The Morning Star rises. The New Man emerges. The Bride becomes singular. The Virgin King is revealed.
Operation Directive
Throughout this week, ask yourself one question before every decision: Who is living this life? Adam… or Christ?
When anxiety appears… Who is living? When temptation appears… Who is living? When ministry begins… Who is living? When success comes… Who is living?
The answer reveals whether we are living from the Cross… or merely talking about it. The Cross is not a doctrine to admire. It is a reality to inhabit. The exchange has already been made. Faith simply learns to live there.
Special Forces Declaration
The Cross is Heaven’s declaration that Adam has reached his appointed end. The Eternal Gospel does not improve the old man — it crucifies him. Christ Himself now becomes the believer’s wisdom, righteousness, strength, peace, and life. The greatest victory is not defeating external enemies, but the death of the false self and the enthronement of the Son within.
This is Operation Divine Exchange. This is the triumph of the Cross. This is the Eternal Gospel.
With Love in Christ,
Apostle Brandon Barthrop
