This is the Way timing often works with the Lord-
When the people are making progress in their circumcisions and it is the most important thing to them daily, compassion is revealed and mercy prevails. When idols are worshipped because of human or first world Christian culture, and the lessons of righteousness are despised, ignored, consider burdensome and tiring, loathsome, then divine anger is revealed and judgment prevails. That is why familiar spirits of idols and demons tempt often to scrolling social media to take a break from that loathsome studying, “such heavy burdens from YHWH…” they do this to stimulate divine anger and not provide so much time to repent.
The study of the Word, the study of the Torah, the studying of righteousness is actually relationship with God, not some separate thing. So when the relationship (study) of YHVH is despised, the accuser approaches the Most High to present his evidence.
When Christians experience divination visions, encounter false representations of Jesus, or engage in transcendental meditation with deceptive spirits they mistake for the Holy Spirit, they often develop an aversion to studying the Word of God. This happens because they form a separate “relationship” with another entity they mistakenly identify as God, YHVH, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. Scripture tells us that we will love one and hate the other. As long as these false representations or idols are cherished, YHVH is inevitably despised and loathed. To restore our love for God and place Him first in our hearts, we must rid ourselves of these idols. This process involves denying ourselves the worldly things we’ve idolized and replacing them with a disciplined study of the Word and dedicated prayer. Only then can we create the space in our hearts to truly love God again.
