Fire Baptism of Shavuot, Ascension of God’s People: Ascension of The People of God and Descension of The Fire of Holiness
The Jewish festival of Shavuot, also known as Pentecost, begins today at sundown, Tuesday, June 11, 2024, and ends at nightfall on Thursday, June 13, 2024. The holiday is celebrated on the sixth day of Sivan, which is 50 days after the second day of Passover.
Association with Shavuot: The festival of Shavuot, occurring on the 50th day after Passover, symbolizes the culmination of the Counting of the Omer, a period of spiritual preparation and growth. This final day represents reaching the 50th gate of Binah, embodying the reception of the Torah and the ultimate understanding it brings.

From the Jewish Chabad Calendar for 6 Sivan which starts this evening:
“Torah Given (1313 BCE)
On the 6th Sivan of the year 2448 from creation (1313 BCE), seven weeks after the Exodus, G-d revealed Himself on Mount Sinai. The entire people of Israel (600,000 heads of households and their families), as well as the souls of all future generations of Jews, heard G-d declare the first two of the Ten Commandments and witnessed G-d’s communication of the other eight through Moses. Following the revelation, Moses ascended the mountain for 40 days, to receive the remainder of the Torah from G-d.
At Sinai, G-d rescinded the “decree” and “divide” (gezeirah) that had been in force since the 2nd day of creation separating the spiritual and the physical into two hermetic worlds; from this point on, “the higher realms could descend into the lower realms, and the lower could ascend to the higher.” Thus was born the “mitzvah” — a physical deed that, by virtue of the fact that it is commanded by G-d, brings G-dliness into the physical world.”
“And the Torah became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14, adapted ESV)
“And the Dvar Hashem became basar and took up residence among us, and we have seen his kavod, the Shechinah of the Ben Yachid from Elohim HaAv, full of Chesed and Emes.” (Yochanan 1:14, OJB)
“Dvar Hashem” (Word of God); the Torah.
“Basar” means flesh.
“Kavod” refers to glory [Kabod of Hod, ChaBaD, Chockmah, Binah Da’at – Holy Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, and Holy Spirit of Knowledge; His splendour and glory]
“Shechinah” is the dwelling presence of God, lower Heh of the Tetragrammaton.
“Yachid” Yechida from “Elohim HaAv” (God the Father)
Yechida Lamb of God, Only Begotten Son; “Unique One”
White Rose of the Father; beloved Son
“Emes” (אמת) means “truth”
Truth; Tiferet – Sun of Righteousness with Healing in His Wings (Malachi 4)
“Emes” itself is composed of the first, middle, and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet (Aleph, Mem, and Tav), symbolizing completeness and the idea that truth encompasses the entirety of existence, from beginning to end (Aleph and Tav)
Aleph He Was
Mem He Is (continually)
Tav He Will Be (always)
He who was and is and is to come.
Aleph – the breath that created Adam will be the breath that slays satan.
Mem – the waters of baptism as we are baptized into His death we are resurrected in Christ from above the dead; Death, mavet that begins also with mem is overcome by the Lamb of God slain, his water and blood poured out of His side at His death that overcame death for all mankind, whoever believes in Him, calling on His Name.
Tav – The end, the end of a matter, beginning, and end of all emanations of Shekhinah glory of the Sefirot, Jacob’s Ladder. We choose Jesus as our inheritance above the idolatry of Esau’s world. Bringing the World that is to come into this moment by being raised spiritually and morally “above” the dead while yet in the body. Ascension brings down the greater glory as we go up through circumcision of heart – that is,
Cosmic Righteousness
