Axe to the Roots | The Hope of Transfiguration
“And in that it was commanded to leave the stump of the roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be sure to you after you have learned and know that the God of heaven rules.” – Daniel 4:26 (AMPC)
“But just when the Assyrian is in sight of his goal, behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, will lop off the beautiful boughs with terrorizing force; the high in stature will be hewn down and the lofty will be brought low. And He will cut down the thickets of the forest with an axe, and Lebanon with its majestic trees shall fall by the Mighty One and mightily.” – Isaiah 10:33-34 (AMPC)
“AND THERE shall come forth a Shoot out of the stock of Jesse [David’s father], and a Branch out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord—and shall make Him of quick understanding, and His delight shall be in the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, neither decide by the hearing of His ears; but with righteousness and justice shall He judge the poor and decide with fairness for the meek, the poor, and the downtrodden of the earth; and He shall smite the earth and the oppressor with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of His waist and faithfulness the girdle of His loins. And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatted domestic animal together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed side by side, their young shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play over the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den. They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” – Isaiah 11:1-9 (AMPC)
“AND there shall come forth a rod out of the root of Jesse: and a flower shall rise up out of his root. And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him: the spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the spirit of counsel and of fortitude, the spirit of knowledge and of godliness. And he shall be filled with the spirit of the fear of the Lord. He shall not judge according to the sight of the eyes, nor reprove according to the hearing of the ears. But he shall judge the poor with justice, and shall reprove with equity for the meek of the earth. And he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth: and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked.” – Isaiah 11:1-4 (DRC1752)
Holy Spirit and Fire Baptism
“And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. But he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.” – Matthew 3:10-17
Two trees in the garden. Enter back into your spirit through the flashing double-edged sword of fire. Two edges of the special sword of both kindness and severity. Knowledge of the living word knowing both His kindness and His severity. Baptism in Him, He is living word, kindness and severity, justice and mercy in perfect love. Trees bearing fruit are only spirit, the olive tree of life, your spirit one with the spirit of Jesus Christ inside you, one with you. Trees bearing fruit get pruned. The other tree is the flesh, tree bearing the fruit of death in the knowledge of good and evil, bewitched into thinking these flesh bodies are what we are, imploded dead stars since the fall of man. Led by the flesh, slave to the flesh, fallen nature, slave to the fallen angels. These trees will be chopped down, axe to the root and into the fire. Flooding the earth with the baptism of fire only the stump will remain.
Now read this again:
“And in that it was commanded to leave the stump of the roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be sure to you after you have learned and know that the God of heaven rules.” – Daniel 4:26 (AMPC)
“And though a tenth of the people remain in the land, it will be for their destruction like a terebinth tree or like an oak whose stump and substance remain when they are felled or have cast their leaves. The holy seed is the stump and substance of Israel.” – Isaiah 6:13 (AMPC)
“For there is hope for a tree if it is cut down, that it will sprout again and that the tender shoots of it will not cease. Though its roots grow old in the earth and its stock dies in the ground, yet through the scent and breathing of water the stump of the tree will bud and bring forth boughs like a young plant.” – Job 14:7-9 (AMPC)
(There is no such hope for man – flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God, becomes new creation.)
“And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall be fruitful.” – Isaiah 11:1 (DARBY)
“There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit.” – Isaiah 11:1 (ESV)
“And a rod hath come out from the stock of Jesse, and a branch from his roots is fruitful.” – Isaiah 11:1 (YLT98)
“The Ruach of Adonai will rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and insight, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Adonai.” – Isaiah 11:2 (TLV)
Ruach, the breath of life, the Spirit, the fragrance of life, the fragrance of death:
“For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?” – 2 Corinthians 2:15-16 (NIV)
“Yet through the scent and breathing of water the stump of the tree will bud and bring forth boughs like a young plant. But the brave, strong man must die and lie prostrate; yes, man breathes his last, and where is he? As waters evaporate from the lake, and the river drains and dries up, so man lies down and does not rise to his former state. Till the heavens are no more, men will not awake nor be raised physically out of their sleep.” – Job 14:9-12 (AMPC)
“Awake, my glory (my inner self); awake, harp and lyre! I will awake right early; I will awaken the dawn!” – Psalm 57:8 (AMPC)
We preach to awaken spirits, the inner man:
“If then you have been raised with Christ to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead, aim at and seek the rich, eternal treasures that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” – Colossians 3:1 (AMPC)
“Far from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the Lord, even the righteous acts toward His villagers in Israel. Then the people of the Lord went down to the gates. Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, utter a song! Arise, Barak, and lead away your captives, you son of Abinoam. Then down marched the remnant of the nobles, the people of the Lord marched down for Me against the mighty.” – Judges 5:11-13 (AMPC)
The stars warring for Deborah, the righteous remnant of the inner man, as David wrote, “Awake my glory (my inner self); realize the glory of the spirit of Jesus and the whole trinity within your inner man, your angel inside you. Knowledge of the glory through intimate experience of knowing Him within you.”
“Awake, my glory (my inner self); awake, harp and lyre! I will awake right early; I will awaken the dawn!” – Psalm 57:8 (AMPC)
Awake, my inner self (spirit). Then harp (heart), then lyre (head or mind). Davidic roots going up through the heart, crystal clear and sparkling seven Spirits of God river through the heart and head from the spirit. The lyre is the head, where the song, the voice, the word comes out. Lifting up the head singing the song of Moses and the Lamb, knowing His severity and kindness, having your dead flesh tree cut down to the root for the stump to drink the breath of life, Ruach HaKodesh, Holy Spirit living waters through your internal plumbing for the tender shoot (Jesus Christ) to sprout up, to flower, to bear fruit that lasts. The flower crowns at the top of the head lifted, out the forehead gate, opens the living gates.
